Club Penguin Earth Day 2014!

Hey guys! Its Amaru333! Club Penguin has added a new page based on the Earth Day 2014 (Thanks to @Abhi20CP for reminding me about this!) It has all the information of the Earth day! Do you remember the previous day I'd posted the Bear Costume? So in that, if 1 penguin unlocks 1 costume, Club Penguin donates $1 USD to wildlife! Here what Club Penguin tells in their own words:

"For every bear costume unlocked in-game, Club Penguin will donate $1 USD up to $50k USD to help the National Parks. Use this code: BEARCUBS"

As on April 8, 2014 on 11:33 AM IST, the number of penguin who redeemed the codes are 9885! So $9885 USD has been donated! So if more penguin redeem the code, more money will be donated!

What's Club Penguin doing this time for The Earth Day?

We're Protecting the Earth
Real world projects range from protecting the nesting grounds of penguins to saving the migratory routes of snow leopards.

Around the globe, Club Penguin helps:
  • Save fragile nesting grounds for penguins.
  • Protect habitats and plant trees in Africa, Asia, South America, and the United States.
  • Safeguard endangered animals like Snow Leopards, Saiga Antelopes, Lowland Tapirs, and others.
What Can we Do to Help Support Earth Month?

Start small. Over time the little things add up and become big things!
Here are some things you can do all year long:
  • Learn about endangered animals that need help where you live
  • Reduce, reuse, recycle
  • Remind your parents to use their reusable bags when shopping
  • Take shorter showers
  • Use a broom instead of a hose to clean the driveway or sidewalk
  • Turn off the water while brushing your teeth
  • Unplug electronic items when they are not in use
  • Organize a cleanup day at your school
  • Ask your parents if you can plant a garden or a tree
  • Turn off the lights when you leave the room
Disney nature Bears
